A year has passed since any talk about Breath of the Wild 2, be it a release date or new content to look forward to. That has all changed today. During the Nintendo Direct at E3 Nintendo gave us a new trailer for breath of the wild 2. The new trailer shows what I believe to be some in game footage of the new game.
Link Is back with some powerful new gadgets, abilities, and locations to explore. The demo shows Link’s arm covered in some kind of Sheikah device giving him the kinesis power with the wave of his hand, another clip shows him blasting flames from his hand using the device. There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the “Sky” in this video. Link is seen using an ability that allows him to teleport to a floating island above Hyrule giving a bird’s eye view of Hyrule and the islands above.
We are never shown Links face in this trailer so it leaves some speculation to there being multiple Links to play as this time around. There are spots in the trailer where the music seems to play in reverse maybe hinting to a time reversal. Nintendo showed us that the game would be out in 2022 but no solid date yet. I look forward to unlocking more of the games secrets and eagerly await Nintendo’s next reveal.
